Cause
• BiRec On/Off is
defective
• Consumer is defective
• High-frequency
interference of any kind,
building of any kind and
vegetation, conductive
metals that are in the
proximity of the BiRec
On/Off
• Devices, which operate
at the same or adjacent
radio frequency, lead to
limitation of the operation
or range. Unfavourable
position of the receiver
(of the BiRec On/Off)
• Broadband interference
in urban areas that
reduce the signal-to-
noise-ratio; the signal is
no longer detected in this
noise
Remedy
• Switch on BiRec On/Off
with hand transmitter
• Replace consumer
• Influence on the radiation
pattern of the antenna due
to the spacing of the
dispatcher or receiver to
conductive surfaces or
objects (also to the human
body or the ground)
• The range is reduced in
practical operation due to
walls, ceilings etc.
• Do not position several
BiRec On/Offs closely
together as they could have
a mutual impact on each
other (recommended
minimum clearance 0.5 m).
