We thank you for having purchased the VACUUM CLEANER EL-400.
Before starting using the appliance, it is advisable to read carefully this
instruction manual. It is also advisable to save this manual for a future use.

IMPORTANT WARNINGS

This appliance may be used by children of more
than 8 years of age, persons with physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or inexpert persons only if
they have been previously trained in using it in a
safe manner, and only if they have been informed
of the dangers the product can cause.
Children may not play with the appliance. Children
may not clean or carry out any maintenance on
the appliance without adult supervision.
Use this appliance only for the purpose shown
in this instruction manual. Any other purpose
should be considered dangerous.
Before connecting the appliance, check that the
voltage shown on the rating label of the product
corresponds to the local mains voltage.
Unplug always the appliance when the product
is not in use, before cleaning the unit and
filters, before removing the bin and whenever a
disturbance occurs.
Never try to unplug the product pulling it from
the cable or from the product itself but pull always
from the plug.
Never wind the cord around the unit body but
please use the special cord support on the backside
of the product.
In order to protect children from risks of electrical
shocks, never leave the appliance unattended
when it is plugged in.
Always store it out of their reach.
Close supervision is necessary when the unit is
used when children are around.
Children must never play with the unit.
Keep the device and the cable away from heat,
direct sunlight, moisture, rain, sharp objects and
similar ones.
Never leave the product unattended if switched on!
Switch it off and unplug it when you do not use
the appliance, even if it is only for a while!
Electronic components must never be dipped in
water or other liquids or coming in contact with
them!
Never use the appliance with wet or moist hands.
In case the appliance becomes moist or wet, please
unplug it immediately from the socket.
DO NOT TRY TO REACH THE
PRODUCT INTO WATER!
Use the device only for its intended purpose.
Any other usage is considered hazardous and
consequently dangerous.
Do not insert objects into any openings.
Do not block air inlets.
Do not pull or carry the product by its cable. Do
not run the appliance over the cable, close the
door on the cable or pull the cable around sharp
edges or corners. Keep always the cord away from
heated surfaces.
Do not use the appliance on wet surfaces.
Never use the appliance to dispose damp material
such as mud, water or other wet materials.
Do not use the appliance to dispose inflammable
or combustible liquids, such as gasoline. Do not
use in areas where these liquids may used, stored
or just present.
Do not use this appliance to vacuum up burning
or smoking materials such as cigarette, matches,
or hot ashes.
Do not use this appliance to pick up hard or sharp
objects or large surface bitter. Pick up these parts
up by hands before vacuum.
Keep your hair, hands and other parts of your
body, loose clothing away from the appliance air
openings.
In case of damages to the cable or to the unit,
please stop immediately using the appliance and
address to a specialized centre. Never try to repair
the unit by yourself.
Damaged cables must be immediately replaced.
Replacements must be carried out by specialized
centres only. Use only original components.
In order to prevent product from overheating,
please unwind completely the cable. Switch
always the product off when not in use.
Packaging components (plastic bags, cardboard,
polystyrene etc.) must be kept out of the reach
of children as they have the potential to be
dangerous and their disposal should be carried
out according to the current regulations.
WARNING: to reduce risks of electric shocks, do
not use the unit on wet surfaces. Do not expose
the appliance to the rain.
Store the unit always indoor.
If the supply cord is damaged ,it must be changed
by manufacturer or by its service agent or by a
qualified person in order to avoid an hazard.
If the item is used in bathroom, unplug it after use
since the proximity of water presents an hazard
even when the item is switched off.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
FIRST USAGE
Please remove the unit from its original packaging. Set the appliance
upright on the floor, avoiding carpets.
