IRTIOOThermometer Operating Instructions--
The IRTIOOthermometeris a non-contact infrared thermometer.Simply aim the
thermometer at thetargetand pressthe 'Scankey' to displaythesurfacetemperature.
Laser Information
By partially pressing the 'Scan key', the device will begin to measure the
temperature of the target. When the 'Scan key' is completely depressed,
the laser will operate.
A CAUTION !
1. WHEN DEVICE IS IN USE, DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY INTO THE LASER
BEAM-PERMANENT EYE DAMAGE
2. USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN OPERATING THE LASER.
3. NEVER POINT THE DEVICE
4. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF ALL CHILDREN.
oc OR OF MODE
To changethethermometer from'oc' to 'OF' o r from 'OF' t o 'oc', firstturn the instrument
on by pressingthe 'Scan key', then pressthe 'Mode key' four times, the 'oc' or 'OF'
symbolwill flash,pressthe 'Scankey' to changeto scale.
MINIMUM OR MAXIMUM MODE
To utilize the thermometer's minimum or maximum mode, first turn the instrument on
by pressingthe 'Scan key', then pressthe 'Mode key' once for minimumor twice for
maximumfunction. The 'MIN' or 'MAX' icon will flash, then press the 'Scan key' to
confirmthe minimumor maximummode.The thermometer w ill displaythe minimumor
maximumreadingonly.
LOCK MODE
The lock modeis padicularlyusefulfor continuous monitoringof temperatures.
To utilize the thermometer'sLOCKmode,first tum the instrumenton by pressingthe
'Scan key', then pressthe 'Modekey' threetimes for the lock modefunction.The lock
icon will flash, then pressthe 'Scan key' to confirmthe lock mode.The thermometer
will continuouslydisplaythe temperature for up to 60 minutesor until the 'Scan key' is
pressedagain.
