Indications for Use
Preformed denture teeth are intended for use in full,
partial and implant supported prostheses.
Contraindications
Only indications above are suitable. Material contains trace
amounts of unreacted monomers which may cause skin
sensitization (allergic contact dermatitis) or other allergic
reactions in susceptible persons.
Warnings / Adverse Reactions
• Consult Safety Data Sheet for safe handling and usage.
Precautions
• Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and
suction are recommended when using rotary instruments.
For disposal, please consult the instructions on the
manufacturer's Safety Data Sheet.
• Acrylic teeth are not recommended to be used with
porcelain teeth.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Dentsply Sirona acrylic teeth are manufactured from the finest,
carefully selected materials mixed and blended according
to scientifically balanced and crosslinked formulas. These
formulae provide the most desirable combinations of all
important physical properties for each material used, however,
the procedures and cautions described here can be applied to
denture teeth in general.
Dentsply Sirona acrylic teeth form a micro mechanical union
with heat cure, cold cure, and pour type acrylic denture bases.
A bonding agent or mechanical retention should be employed
when using printed, milled, thermoplastic, or light cure denture
base materials.
Set-Up
A wide range of Dentsply Sirona anterior tooth moulds and
shades facilitates easy selection and set-up for any denture
requirement. The posterior offering includes anatomical, semi-
anatomical and flat plane moulds providing a comprehensive
selection of occlusal forms. Both anterior and posterior denture
teeth can be easily set up to satisfy any individual requirement.
If it is necessary to grind the ridge lap to properly set or
arrange the teeth, it is recommended that a space of at least
one millimeter be provided for denture base resin between
the tooth and the cast surface. This allows the denture base
to support the tooth that has been thinned out by grinding. If
an acrylic tooth is not encased completely in the denture base
resin around its ridge lap areas, damaging stresses may be
focused on individual teeth.
Wax-Up (Not applicable to printed or milled appliances)
The wax-up may be brush flamed for the purpose of smoothing
the wax pattern, but the flame should be directed away from
the tooth surfaces. Do not concentrate a small point or tip of
flame directly on the teeth. Remove all traces of wax from the
tooth surfaces prior to investing. This may be accomplished by
using care during set-up and waxing procedures. Extra time
spent on the wax-up and removal of all wax from the tooth
surfaces will save time in finishing and will result in a better,
more easily finished denture.
After the wax carving has been completed and properly flamed,
en
it may be polished with a piece of cotton wetted with soapy
water at a temperature of about 65˚F to give the wax carving a
high-gloss finish.

Polishing
Care should be taken during polishing to keep away from the
denture teeth. The facial and lingual surfaces should not require
polishing unless adjusted.
Adjusted occlusal surfaces and other surfaces requiring
polishing are handled best using a handpiece with rubber
points, followed by a felt wheel and a quality polishing
compound at medium low speed.
Coarse pumice, heavy pressure and hi-speed lathes should
be avoided when polishing acrylic teeth to prevent loss of
anatomical detail.
Anwendungsgebiet
Vorgeformte Prothesenzähne sind für die Verwendung
bei Voll-, Teil- und implantatgestützten Prothesen bestimmt.
Kontraindikationen
Nur die oben aufgeführten Indikationen sind zulässig. Das
Material enthält nicht umgesetzte Monomere im Spurenbereich,
welche bei empfindlichen Personen eine Hautsensibilisierung
(allergische Kontaktdermatitis) oder sonstige allergische
Reaktionen bewirken können.

• Zur sicheren Handhabung und Verwendung das
Sicherheitsdatenblatt beachten.
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen
• Bei Verwendung von rotierenden Instrumenten werden
geeignete Persönliche Schutzausrüstung (PSA) und
Absaugung empfohlen. Zur Entsorgung bitte die
Anweisungen im Sicherheitsdatenblatt des Herstellers
beachten.
• Die Verwendung von Acrylatzähnen zusammen mit
Porzellanzähnen wird nicht empfohlen.
