It is essential to observe the following items:

The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it against humidity and
heat (admissible ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never use chemicals or water.

No guarantee claims for the unit and no liability for any resulting per-
sonal damage or material damage will be accepted if the unit is used
for other purposes than originally intended, if it is not correctly con-
nected or operated, or not repaired in an expert way. Likewise, no lia-
bility will be accepted for data loss caused by operating errors or by a
defect and for any consequential damage of this data loss.
If the unit is to be put out of operation definitively, take it to a
local recycling plant for a disposal which is not harmful to the en-
vironment.
Do not put exhausted batteries or defective rechargeable batteries into
the household rubbish but take them to a special waste disposal (e. g.
collective container at your retailer).

3 Applications

The DPR-3000 is a versatile audio recorder for mobile application, ide-
ally suited for recording concerts, rehearsals, interviews or for preserving
spur-of-the-moment ideas. Equipped with four built-in microphones, a
speaker and 128 MB internal memory, the recorder is immediately ready
for use, but it can be extended with external microphones, earphones
and SD / SDHC memory card (up to 32 GB) or USB memory, if required.
Likewise units with line level output can be connected for recording.
An easy exchange of data with a computer (e. g. for backup or pro-
cessing of the recordings) is possible per USB. The recorder can be op-
erated with (rechargeable) batteries or be supplied with power via the
mini USB jack. If rechargeable batteries are used, they can be charged
in the unit. A base, a windshield and a USB cable are supplied with the
unit.
