GUIDELINES AND SUMMARY ON THE DATA ACQUIRED ON THE
ELECTROMAGNETIC THERAPY APPLIED BY MAGNETOMAX-PLUS
MAGNETOMAX-PLUS is a small electro-medical equipment, which allows – using its irradiating
probes – to perform one of the most advanced therapies adopted until now in the leading specialized
centre for the Electromagnetic Therapy, comfortably at home.
WHAT IS MAGNETOMAX-PLUS USED FOR?

ELECTROMAGNETIC THERAPY: A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY
It is not long since Electromagnetic Therapy was officially introduced in hospitals and specialized
clinics, allowing the effective treatment of the many chronic diseases that did not show signs of
significant improvement with the usual pharmaceutical treatments. Despite this, the first studies on
the effects of this therapy trace back to the first years of the XX Century. The first great medical
school to deal with a thorough analysis on the biological effects of electromagnetic waves on body
cells was the Russian one, using the first rudimental tools.
Later, the study of some theories was successfully resumed by the French school. It was only in the
Seventies that some American scholars, thanks to the new means of investigation, were able to
verify that electromagnetic waves infuse the body cells with electric charge, thus improving the
enzyme kinetics, speeding up tissue and bone repair, producing a healthy anti-edema, anti-
inflammatory and analgesic action.
The first physicians to make the therapy official were the Germans who, treating numerous patients,
were able to verify the extraordinary effectiveness of the therapy itself. They counted a conspicuous
percentage of patients treated with Electromagnetic Therapy who obtained very satisfactory
healing results. As a matter of fact, the beneficial effect of the electromagnetic waves consists in
the electro-cellular recharge which rapidly re-polarizes the membranes of the damaged cells,
independently of the reason (infective, chemical, mechanical or physical), restoring the normal
functions.
