General Information
With this order, you work safely with
the sabre saw and achieve a good
result:
1. Clamp the workpiece. Use a
clamping device for small work-
pieces.
2. Draw a line to specify the direction
in which the saw blade is guided.
3. Hold the device securely by the
handle.
4. Set the stroke rate.
5. Set the mitre angle.
6. Set the stroke strength.
7. Turn the device on.
8. Wait until the device has reached
its full stroke rate.
9. Place the footplate on the work-
piece.
10. Slowly move the device along the
marked line, pressing the footplate
firmly down onto the workpiece.
11. Do not apply too much pressure
in the cutting direction. Let the
device do the work.
12. Before shutting down the device,
switch it off and wait for it to come
to a complete standstill.
Inserting and removing the
battery
 WARNING! Risk of injury due to
unintentional start-up. Only insert
the battery into the device once the
device is fully prepared for use.
NOTICE! Risk of damage! An incor-
rect battery can damage the device
and battery.
Inserting the battery
1. Push the battery (9) along the
guide into the battery holder (8).
You will hear the battery click into
place.
Removing the battery
1. Press and hold the battery release
(31) on the battery (9).
2. Pull the battery out of the battery
holder (8).

Switching on and off

Switching on
1. Insert the rechargeable battery (9)
into the device.
2. Press the unlock button (3).
The LED work light (22) lights up,
the device is unlocked.
3. Set the stroke rate with the stroke
rate button (26).
4. Press the on/off switch (2)
5. Wait until the device has reached
its full stroke rate.
You can guide the device with the
baseplate (12) against the workpiece.
Switching off
1. Press the on/off switch (2)
2. Do not pull the sawblade out
of the cut until it has come to a
standstill.
3. Press the unlock button (3).
The LED work light goes out, the
tool is locked
4. Remove the rechargeable battery
(9) from the device if you are leav-
ing the device unattended or if you
have finished working.
