SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS

The temperature is displayed in Fahrenheit, any Celsius requirements will need to be converted prior to
pressing.
Note: A sacrificial mug needs to be placed in the press while heating. Doing this will protect the element and
prolong its working life.
1) Before plugging in the power lead ensure the element cable of the attachment you are operating is attached
into the socket on the control unit.
2) Attach the power lead to the rear of the control unit and turn the ON/OFF switch on.
3) First set the target temperature, this is the heat setting you wish to press at. Press the MODE button twice to
enter the target temperature menu. Use the arrow keys to adjust the temperature to the required level.
4) Press the MODE button once to confirm the target temperature and move into the time menu.
Use the arrow keys to adjust the time settings in seconds.
Once the time has been set press the MODE button again to exit all menus.
5) Now the idle temperature must be set, press the MODE button once. This is not the working temperature,
it provides a resting temperature for the press to drop down to when not in use, without going completely
cold. Use the arrow keys to adjust the temperature to the required level.
Note: the idle temperature should not be set any higher than the target temperature, for example - if the target
is 365°F then the idle could be set at 355°F.
6) Finally press the MODE button three times to confirm this idle temperature.
The screen will show the current temperature which will begin to increase and reach your idle temperature.
INSTALLING THE T-SHIRT PRESS
The following items are required to use the T-shirt press function:
- 5 in 1 main stand with control unit, adjustable arm and handle
- Top t-shirt press platen
- Base plate
- T-shirt press element cable
1) The top t-shirt press plate attaches to the arm in the centre of the stand. Use the wing nuts to secure the plate
in between the two circular discs. Ensure the element cable is positioned at the back of the 5 in 1 stand in
order to reach the control unit.
