CHECKING THE 90° ANGLES
•
Place the instrument 5 m from two walls at an
angle
•
Turn the laser on by pressing the ON/OFF button
twice. Mark off point A on the fl oor.
•
Mark off point B on the wall at a height of 1 m.
and then point C at the same height on the other
wall.
•
Rotate the instrument over point A until the line
from point B crosses point C.
•
Mark off point D on the wall near point B at a
height of 1 m.
•
If point B and D are more than 3 mm apart, the
instrument should be calibrated.
If you fi nd that the laser is out
of alignment, return it to your
retailer to be recalibrated at an
authorised service centre.

APPLICATIONS
In combination with an optional detector, it can also
be used for outdoor work.
Examples include setting out a building or determin-
ing heights.
