USAGE OF THE INSTRUMENT

In this mode, the laser self-levels to 3º. Is the laser
inclined more than 3º? Then the laser can no longer
level itself. The lines will then fl ash to warn you.
You can place the laser on a fl atter surface or adjust it
with the adjustable legs.
Turn the lock button back to the left to switch off the
laser.
Manual mode
The dial on the laser has three modes: Off , Locked/
Manual and Auto.
In Manual mode, the pendulum in the laser is locked.
This prevents the laser from levelling itself and there-
fore will not warn in case of deviation.
This mode protects the pendulum during transport,
but also allows you to project lines at an angle.
Be sure to check that the line is level yourself!
Use with or without detector
When you switch on the laser, it is automatically in
detector mode.
Want to use the laser without a detector?
Press the HP+ button (14, Fig.2) once to
switch to HighPower+ mode. The lines are
now more visible, but can no longer be
captured by the detector.
CHECKING ACCURACY
A laser is a precision instrument and must therefore
also be handled carefully. Before shipment, the laser
is checked and calibrated at the factory.
However, deviations may occur during use or trans-
port. Before each use, therefore, check the accuracy
of the laser via the following instructions. This will
prevent annoying measurement errors.
If you fi nd that the laser is out of
alignment, return it to your retailer
to be recalibrated at an authorised
service centre.
