4. General
The commeo Receive Garage converts commeo radio signals into
0.7-second-long control signals at the output
commeo Receive Garage to control multiple garage door openers
via the secondary station for a key switch or pushbutton. It does
not matter whether the UP, STOP or DOWN key is pressed on the
commeo remote control.
Optionally, end position switches for a visual representation
can be connected to commeo controllers such as the commeo
Home Server 2 and commeo Multi Send.
Note: If no end position switches are being used, no position infor-
mation is available to the commeo Receive Garage so that a 50%
travel status is always displayed here. When the end positions are
reached and end position switches are connected, the change from
the 50% to 0% (fully open) and 100% (fully closed) positions is
visualised.
4.1. Intended use
The commeo Receive Garage may only be used to control garage
door controllers with safety devices that operate with signal mode
at the secondary station pushbutton.
• Radio systems must not be operated in areas with an increased
risk of interference (e.g. hospitals, airports).
• The remote control is only permitted for devices and systems that
do not present a danger to persons, animals or object in the event
of a functional fault in the receiver or where this risk is secured
against by means of other safety mechanisms.
• The operator is not protected against interference from other
radio systems and end devices (e.g. radio systems that are normal-
ly operated in the same frequency).
