1. Instructions for use
All instructions must be read. Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference!
Only pass the appliance on to other persons with these instructions for use.
2. Safety instructions
• This product is not a toy and must not be used by children.
• Remove all packaging materials and ensure that children do not play with them, as there is a risk of suffocation.
• Keep the product away from pets and ensure that they are not endangered.
• Do not repair the product yourself! Only have repairs carried out by a qualified electrician.
• The socket outlet distributor must not be used if the housing, the mains cable or, if applicable, the mains plug are damaged. Risk of electric shock!
• The socket outlet distributor complies with protection class IP44 (splash-proof). This means that the product can be exposed to rain and moisture, but
must not be immersed in water. There is also no protection against a water jet (e.g. from a water hose or high-pressure cleaner).
• Only connecting cables and / or mains plugs that comply with protection class IP44 (splash-proof) may be used.
• The socket outlet distributor must not be installed in a place where water can collect. To prevent the socket outlet distributor from falling into water, it
should be kept at least 1 meter away from ponds or similar.
• If the power strip has been knocked over, it is essential to check whether water has penetrated inside.
Permanent installation to the mains power supply
• The power cable must be certified for outdoor use and comply with the following specifications:
3-pole supply cable (NYY-J 3 x 1.5 mm2 or H07RN-F 5G1.5 mm2).
• The power cable to be connected must be de-energized during installation. Switch off the power and check that there is no voltage using a voltage
tester.
Installation only by persons with relevant electrical knowledge and experience!*)
• Improper installation endangers:
• Your own life;
• the lives of the users of the electrical system.
• Improper installation puts you at risk of serious damage to property, e.g. due to fire.
• You may be personally liable for personal injury and damage to property.
• Contact an electrician!
• *) Specialist knowledge required for installation
• The following specialist knowledge in particular is required for installation:
- the „5 safety rules" to be applied: disconnect; secure against reconnection; ensure that there is no voltage
- earthing and short-circuiting; covering or fencing off neighboring live parts;
- Selection of suitable tools, measuring equipment and, if necessary, personal protective equipment;
- Evaluation of the measurement results;
- Selection of the electrical installation material to ensure the switch-off conditions;
- IP protection types;
- Installation of the electrical installation material;
- Type of supply network (TN system, IT system, TI system) and the resulting connection conditions
- (classic earthing, protective earthing, additional measures required, etc.).
Electrical safety
• Connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician!
• The installation of a residual current device (RCD/FI) with a rated tripping current of no more than 30 mA in the circuit used by the product is recommen-
ded as additional protection. The installation should be carried out by an experienced electrician.
• Never touch live parts!
• Ensure that the insulation of the connecting cable is not damaged.
• Safe operation is no longer possible if the appliance shows visible signs of damage.
• Ensure that the maximum connected load (3680 W) is not exceeded.
• The valid installation regulations for outdoor areas must be observed.
