Troubleshooting

If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself fi rst.
Do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!
Problem
The device is not

Potential cause / solution
• Is the mains plug properly connected with the socket?
• Is the cable connected to the device?
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
• Check the fuse for your mains connection.
• Have you set a cooking temperature?
• Has the bowl being properly inserted?
• Did you try to cook different foods with different cook-
ing times all at once? If you would like to cook different
foods, make sure that the cooking times for the different
foods are similar!
• Was the cooking time too short? Increase the cooking time!
• The frying basket is overfi lled. Reduce the quantity of
food.
• Use waxy potatoes. Young potatoes have more water
and must therefore be cooked for longer. It is therefore
possible that they are not quite as crispy.
• The frying basket has been overfi lled, fi ll the device with
fewer potatoes.
• The fries have been cut too thick, cut them thinner.
• The frying basket is too full. For optimal results, fi ll the
frying basket to no more than ¾ with food.
• The selected temperature is too low. Set it higher.
• The cooking time is too short. Adjust the cooking time.
• The frying basket is overfi lled. Reduce the quantity of food.
