THE SOLDERING HAS A DULL SURFACE OR SEEMS
BRITTLE
1.
Clean the soldering tip with the damp sponge.
2.
Tin the soldering tip as described in the section Tinning the
tip.
3.
Hold the soldering tip firmly pressed against the junction for
a few seconds.
4.
Put solder in the contact point between the soldering tip and
the junction.
5.
Lift the soldering tip off the junction.
