Working with the cable
Ø 8 mm / adapter
Fig. 12: Adapter attached to the RM 300
Option 1:
If you want to extend the cable, pull the end
out of the guide hose.
To do so, pull up the locking bolt on the shaft
entrance and pull off the guide hose.
Connect the next cable piece and push the
entire cable length back into the guide hose.
Option 2:
When the cable has completely run out of the
machine, hold the end of the cable firmly or fix
it so that it cannot disappear into the pipe.
Push another cable piece from the front
through the machine into the protective hose
until only approx. 20 cm protrude from the
machine.
Connect the extension cable to the cable that
is already in the tube.
Use adapter with the 8 mm or 10 mm cable, 5 m
length, for narrow pipes or pipe bends.
To do so, pull the cable approx. 30 cm out of
the adapter magazine and push it through the
shaft.
Push the adapter magazine into the shaft
entrance and lock it with the bolt.
ATTENTION!
Due to the lower stiffness of the 8 mm cable, it
should never be used in large pipes or with hard
obstacles.
