Caution – Pro mode
• In this mode, take care to keep sufficient distance from obstacles,
people and animals.
• Start out by getting used to the acceleration and speed in a spacious
area free of obstacles.
• The high speeds increase the risk of injury.
To choose this mode, press the mode switch [MODE] until the display
shows "FAS".
The scooter can be set in motion as follows:
In order to use the auxiliary electric motor, you must first switch on
the scooter. To do this, press the on switch (see figure 8) until the
speedometer lights up.
Note
In principle, the device can also be used without the electric auxiliary
motor.
• To use the electric auxiliary motor, you need to first get the device
moving at about 4 km/h using your own muscle power.
• Then pull the gas lever to start the auxiliary motor. Now you can
accelerate the scooter to the speed limit defined by the mode you are
in.
Caution
• Take some time to get used to the handling characteristics of the
scooter in order to minimise the risk of falling and injuries.
• Practise in a spacious, unobstructed area to get used to the
acceleration and driving characteristics.
• Be sure to wear quality protective clothing.
Brake using the brake lever on the left side of the handlebar.
Caution - Braking
• Get accustomed to the braking time. Try to develop a feeling for how
long the scooter takes to stop.
• Always brake well in time and do not risk colliding with people,
animals or obstacles.
Note – Additional displays
Once the scooter has been switched on by pressing and holding the
ON/OFF switch, you can switch to various other displays by briefly
pressing the ON/OFF switch again.
ODO = total kilometres
TRIP = kilometres since the scooter was last switched on
TM = time since the scooter was last switched on
You need not pay attention to the RM and ERRO modes, which are
intended for use by Hama Support.

7.3 Assembling and starting the device for the first time

Note
Please fully charge the product before using it for the first time.
7.3.1 F- / S- / X-Cruisers
For the S and X Cruisers, other than the notes listed under 7.2.1, no steps
are necessary before starting the device for the first time.
For the F Cruiser, please additionally note the following:
Two rugged mudguards and an assembly kit are additionally included.
Attach the mudguards as shown in the figures below.
• Insert the mudguards between the drive wheels and the vehicle body.
• Make sure that the top of each mudguard cleanly slots into the collar
and that the tabs are inserted all the way into the recesses on the
underside of the vehicle body.
• Take care that the attachment screws are screwed in straight.

7.3.2 U-Scooter

• When unpacking the scooter, lift it out of the packaging by the steering
column.
• Assemble the scooter as shown in the figures below.
• As shown in the figures below, the steering column's height can be
adjusted between three different positions.
