Troubleshooting
Fault
Pump is working,
but does not
produce water.
Water supply
switches off; pump
does not restart.
Flow speed is
insufficient.
Pump stops after
running for a short
while only.
Pump does not
work, no sound.

Cause
A. Suction is clogged.
B. Impeller is blocked or damaged.
C. The required height is more than
the pump can perform.
A. Check whether the non-return
valve is blocked.
A. Suction is clogged.
B. Impeller or pressure side is
blocked.
A. Pump stops automatically due to
the built-in heat protection.
A. Check that the non-return valve
has been installed correctly and
whether there is an apparent
contamination.
Solution
A. Clean filter.
B. Remove dirt.
C. Reduce height to be
overcome.
A. Remount non-return valve in
order to avoid further
contamination.
A. Clean suction etc.
B. Check impeller and pressure
side.
A. Check whether temperature
or density of liquid is too high
for the electric motor to
overheat.
A. Make sure that the non-re-
turn valve is installed
correctly and that there is no
apparent contamination.
