Installation
1). If the pump is to operate with contaminated water, it is recommended that the
pump is positioned at a certain height to avoid that the pump inlet is clogged.
2). The most favourable operating condition is to immerse the electric pump
completely into water.
Electrical connection
1). Electrical parts must be connected and protected by complying with local regulations.
Please observe the operating voltage. Make sure that the power supply complies with
the electric motor.
2). If the pump works a long distance away from the power source, the electric pump
must be provided with a larger power cable diameter.
Warning :
The pump is provided with a heat protection. If the pump switches off automatically due
to being overheated, it starts again automatically once the electric motor has cooled
down, as long as the power source is still available.
If the power cable is damaged or there is a kink in the cable. As soon as the power cable
has been damaged by an accident or is defective, the pump should not be used any
longer. Only let a qualified person rectify this damage.
The depth of immersing the electric pump is restricted by the length of the power cable.
Never use the pump when people are in the water.
Always take care that plug and sockets are dry.
Maintenance and cleaning
During standard operation the pump does not need to be professionally serviced.
But solid particles of contamination should be removed from the suction area. Anyway,
all repair work and maintenance should only be carried out once the device has been
taken off the power supply and is secured against being switched back on by
accident.
Repair and replacement
In case the pump is defective and has to be repaired, please send it to your authorised
dealer.
