ASSEMBLY
The welding helmet is preassembled. Remove the protective film
from both lenses before use.
ADJUST THE WELDING HELMET FIT
The headband should be adjusted both in diameter and height.
The angle between face and helmet should also be adjusted
(recommended 10° to 12°).
1.
Adjust the headband diameter with the headband tightness
adjusting knob (#12) on the headband. Twist clockwise to
tighten and counterclockwise to loosen.
2.
Adjust the headband height by releasing the headband
adjusting buttons (#9) and changing the top strap hole.
3.
Adjust the helmet position on the headband. Loosen the
headgear knobs (#17) and adjust the helmet, then tighten the
knobs. Make sure the helmet is adjusted the same on both
sides for proper vision.
4.
Adjust the helmet to get the desired viewing angle. Once the
angle is correct, tighten the two angle adjustment shims (#14)
connecting the headband to the helmet shell until snug. The
helmet should still swing up, but it should not drift downward
when in place for welding.
