4.4 Assembling the stainless steel milk jug lid
and the automatic milk frother
1. Place the stainless steel milk jug lid connector in the slot
provided inside the lid.
2. Insert the stainless steel milk jug's rigid tube into
the connector inside the lid.
3. Insert the milk connection hose using its black plastic
nozzle into the outer hole of the lid designed for this
purpose and close gently the stainless steel milk jug with
the lid. Turn slightly the lid to ensure a good adhesion
between the stainless steel milk jug and the lid.
4. Insert the other metal end of the milk connection hose
into the machine's spout inlet (first open the protective
lid - * see below)
NOTE: There is a protective lid on the automatic milk frother
located on the machine's spout for connecting the metal end.
TIPS: The machine does not indicate when there is not
enough milk in the stainless steel milk jug. The automatic
milk frother on the spout (photo below) must be cleaned
before the first use.

4.5 Preparing your Cappuccino
1. Prepare the machine and milk accessories as described in
section 4.4 Assembling the stainless steel milk jug lid and
automatic milk frother
2. Fill the stainless steel milk jug with milk and close gently
the lid to avoid an in-draft air transfer (maximum 450 ml /
minimum 200 ml).
TIPS: Always use cold semi-skimmed or whole milk
(at a temperature of about 5°C) with a protein concentration
of at least 3% to get the best milk foam
3. Make sure that the external drip tray and its stainless steel
grate are properly positioned and that the water tank is
full. As soon as the machine is switched on, it automatically
rinses itself using approximately the same amount of water
as a small coffee cup, directly into the external drip tray.
4. Place a cup under the spout and adjust the height of the
spout according to the type of cup. Depending on the
height and width of the cup (higher or wider), you can
remove or shift the outer drip tray:
5. Press the Cappuccino button
up to indicate that the beverage is being prepared.
The Cappuccino button remains lit, and the light
indicates that the machine is preparing the beverage. The
preparation of your milk-based beverages needs few
seconds before the machine is started.
WARNING: Steam and hot milk may escape from the nozzle
at the start of the beverage preparation process. Wrap the
milk connection hose around the stainless steel milk jug lid
after use - never leave the hose hanging down.
