INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: Raise Vehicle:
•
Partially raise the vehicle one side at a
time.
STEP 2: Remove OEM Bump Stop:
•
Loosen axle U-bolts and remove the
existing bump stop. Fig.1: Shows the
original bump stop location.
STEP 3: Preassemble Parts:
•
Use 17mm socket to assemble Aeon
rubber spring to the bracket. (Part 2 is
optional; use a longer fastener if
utilized.) Fig.2: Displays the assembled
items prior to installation.
STEP 4: Install Timbren Kit:
•
Install Timbren kit assembly to the leaf
spring using OEM U-bolts.
STEP 5: Lower Vehicle.
Fig.3 Shows preassembled kit clamped
to the leaf spring, ensuring everything is
secured using the appropriate wrench
and socket.
Fig.4: Shows the installed kit.
CAUTION
Never Work under a truck supported only by a
jack; it may slip or fall, causing serious injury or
death.
Do not exceed vehicle manufacturer's recommended
weight rating. Check for AEON ® interference with
vehicle components - Under load AEON ® will
"expand" in diameter.
