Descaling the appliance

CAUTION:
We recommend you to descale
the appliance once a month,
in case of using a water fi lter once a
year.
CAUTION:
Only use descaling agents
which are suitable for K-fee® –
your system brewer. For further infor-
mation regarding product suitability

WARNING:
Before using the descaling
agent, read the instruction
manual through thoroughly and follow
the warning information.
PROHIBITED:
Do not drink the descaling
agent – health hazard.
CAUTION:
Remove the water fi lter befo-
re descaling process - health
hazard.
The appliance must be in off /standby

mode. Lift the handle to eject inserted pod
and reclose it.
After this, remove the drip tray, the

used pod container and water tank,

empty them and reinsert the used pod
container.

In case of using a water fi lter, remove it

from the water tank.
Fill the water tank with the descaling
4
agent at the prescribed mixing ratio (1:4)
and insert it in the appliance. Place a suf-
fi ciently large heat-safe cup under the
spout.
