HOW IT WORKS
The "Light Assist" main beam assist regulates the automatic activation and deactivation of the
main beams.
SYSTEM INFORMATION
• A camera on the rear-view mirror scans the area in front of the vehicle in the dark and
at a speed of 60 km/h or more
• The system switches on the main beams if the carriageway is clear
• It switches automatically from main to dipped beams if a vehicle is detected ahead, or if
oncoming traffic is detected
• The main beams are activated again as soon as no other vehicles are detected ahead
of the camera
