Installation
The drain surveillance is suspended in the opening of the wastewater pipe
via a sheet metal bracket (1) and attached with cable ties. The drain surveil-
lance (2) is connected to the controller (4) by the M8 plug (3). If the next con-
troller is installed more than 1m away, the connection can be established
by an extension cable (9943.005). The maximum cable length from the flow
sensor to the controller is 50m.
Note:
To connect the drain surveillance the master must be turned off, to this
end turn off the power switch and connect the drain surveillance with a
controller via cable according to the below instructions. Restart the master,
the drain surveillance is automatically detected.
Risk of malfunctions due to faulty installation!
If the knurled coupling nut is not tightened properly, the plug connection
may get loose over time. This may lead to a loss of functionality! Make sure
that all knurled coupling nuts of the connection cables are tightened!
