Installation instructions
Loosen the rotor safeguard, to allow the rotor to turn freely.
- Insert the missing bolts M8x30 and M8x25 of the last segment and tighten.
- Successive and even tightening of the tensioning ring and tapping the casing will
reduce the gap and align the rotor segments so they are in exactly the right posi-
tion. The distance between the studs in the tensioning straps should be roughly the
same around the entire wheel.
After tightening the casing:
- Secure the joining straps (item 19) with the countersunk bolts 4.8x25 (item
20) in all missing positions.
Do not damage the segment surface.
- Secure the two-way connection of the individual casing sections (item 17)
by inserting the panhead bolts 4.2x13 (item 21) into all pilot holes.
