ADJUSTMENTS
1. Sit inside the vehicle and close the door. Adjust the
up-down and front-back positions of the striker bolt
(#32).
2. If the door latch does not close properly, change the
position of the remote latch system. To do this,
remove the protective case of the remote latch (#A)
and loosen the machine screws (#B) retaining the
remote latch to the door. This operation will enable
the remote latch to be adjusted inward-outward.
NOTE: The latch is working properly when there are
two "clicks" from the latch when the door is shut
slowly. If only one "click" is heard, readjust so the
latch "clicks" twice.
3. After adjusting the latch until it will close properly,
adjust the actuating screw (#C) to properly operate
the latch release (#D) from the outside handle. With
the door open, this screw should be just touching latch release (#D) without putting pressure on it. Loosen the
nut (#E) and screw or unscrew according to the case the machine screw (#C). If this adjustment is insufficient,
completely remove the remote latch system and the machine screw (#C) and replace it with the
Torx socket machine screw (#18) supplied in this kit.

4. Reinstall the remote latch system and the protective case removed at step 2.
5. Repeat the steps 1 to 4 for the opposite side.
6. Check door latches for proper latching before each ride. Do not drive vehicle if door latches are not functioning
properly.
7. Do not grease or lubricate door latches. If dirty, clean with a dry rag.
