7.6.2 Operation with active controller of transmitter pH 2100 e

Contrary to working with limit values, process control with the built-in controller offers a very
narrow neutral zone. Using limit values the EasyClean starts only within this normal range. If the
control is active the transmitter initiates cleaning or calibration immediately after the timer has
elapsed. Following the start the transmitter switches to HOLD mode.
Since the control turns active in case of a deviation (from the nominal value) it probably must
not be deactivated. In this case there are two ways of programming the transmitter:
"Off" or
"Fixed Value" The operator sets a value between 0 and 100 %. The transmitter control uses
this value throughout the HOLD phase.

NOTICE
The transmitter switches to HOLD mode if the housing is removed from the process manually
(by pressing the "IN/OUT" key of the EasyClean). This activates the control using the preset
values "last/fixed".
