Viscosity and tube length influence the delivery rate of the pump. The maximum delivery rate of the diaphragm pump
used is 5 ml/s. Viscosities above 25 Pa s and tube lengths greater than 10 m (32.8 ft) can reduce the rate to 3 ml/s.
We calculate with an average of 4 ml/s. To ensure complete filling of the flushing chamber, check the outflow of the
chamber (dismount drain water hose), and check the outflow of cleaning agent or buffer after delivery. If necessary
readjust parameter C3 and C4.

The EasyClean is supplied with standard program sequences. Between the individual functions
and always at the end of a process, the whole system is rinsed with water and air.
The standard settings result in the following program cycle times:
Cleaning:
Calibration:

Test of automatic calibration

Test the automatic calibration feature by pressing the key «CAL» on the front panel of the control
unit. After the rinsing and cleaning cycle has been completed, transport of buffer 1 commences.
This is shown on the display as «Buffer 1» (later «Buffer 2»). Subsequently, calibration is
carried out in conjunction with the transmitter. After completion of the calibration, the system
is again flushed with water and air. Following this, the transmitter leaves the HOLD mode and
shows no alarm messages.

Check of cycle intervals set at the transmitter

The cleaning and calibration intervals are set at the transmitter.
Menu: Conf / ProbEMNU / EASYCLN / CLN, CAL. For the performance check set the intervals to the
following values:
Cleaning
0.1 h
Calibration
0.3 h
The transmitter will initiate a cleaning cycle every 6 minutes and after 18 minutes the automatic
calibration should take place.
NOTICE
Never set the calibration interval to a value below 0.3 h.
