CAUTION:

• Route power cords around rack area to prevent personal injury or
damage to rack, lighting and components.
• Do not link more than six (6) LED strips in a chain configuration.
Initial Setup (Fig. 1-2)
1. Position LED strip at desired area on rack, best if they are facing down toward
shelving area to achieve best illumination.
2. Position sensor box at desired area on rack, preferably on the cross beam, so
the sensor is front facing.
3. Once LED strips are in the desired area, insert one end of the jumper cord
into either end of the first LED strip and the other end of the jumper cord into
either end of the second LED strip. Repeat for second and third LED strip.
4. Insert one end of the jumper cord into either end of the LED strips and the
other end of the jumper cord into top of sensor box where the output jack is
closest to the D WALT logo on the box (Fig. 1).

5. Insert power plug from wall adapter into the jack on bottom of sensor box
and plug wall adapter into 110/120VAC 60Hz outlet (Fig. 2).
6. Verify switch on the LED strip is on the ON position (I).
7. Connect up to six (6) LED strips in the Motion Sensor Light system.
(Additional Light Kit sold separately)
8. If connecting more than allowable number of LED strips in daisy-chain
configuration the sensor box will engage Safety Mode and shut down the
system. A red light will glow under the motion sensor dome indicating Safety
Mode is engaged.
To reset, first, remove the last light strip connected to the system. Second,
simply unplug the wall adapter or power jack from the bottom of sensor box
then re-insert fully. The lights should come back on automatically.

Operating Instructions
1. To turn lights on constantly, slide selection switch on the sensor to top
position (ON).
2. To use lights in sensor mode, slide selection switch on the sensor to bottom
position (SENSOR).
3. To turn lights off, slide selection switch on the sensor to middle position (OFF).
4. To turn off an individual light when in a chained configuration, slide the switch
on the LED strip to the off position (0).
5. The LED strip will also function by plugging directly into the power wall adapter
NOTE: Motion sensor requires unobstructed line of sight for proper function.
Sensor might have slight delay in reaction time during hotter months and in
hotter ambient temperature environments.
One Year Limited Warranty
D WALT will replace this Motion Sensor Light Kit due to faulty materials or

workmanship for one year from the date of purchase (be sure to keep your
receipt). This warranty does not cover part failure due to normal wear and tear.
This warranty does not apply to damage caused where repairs have been made
