Inserting/Replacing Batteries
Insert the batteries into the battery compartment 9.
Observe the correct polarity as indicated in the bat-
tery compartment.
Replace the batteries when the laser beam goes out
during operation.
Always use the same type of batteries and do not use
rechargeable batteries!
When not using for extended periods, remove the
batteries. Danger of corrosion.
Extreme temperatures can considerably impair the
operating duration of the device.
Working Instructions
Horizontal Application
Place the device on the floor and align it to a refer-
ence line with the stop edge 1.
Switch the device on with the On/Off switch 4.
If required, check the vertical projection with the
spirit levels 2 and bring the projection into align-
ment using the levelling dials 5.
Vertical Application
The device can be fastened to smooth surfaces by
means of adherent aides 8 (accessory).
Insert adherent aid into the openings 7 (arrow)
according to the instructions on the packaging.
Align the device to the wall and press both buttons 3
in order for the device to adhere.
Align the laser beam 6 using the levelling dials 5.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Do not use aggressive cleaning agents; use a soft,
moist cloth.
Clean the optics using a cleaning cloth for glasses or
lenses.
Do not attempt to open the device.
If the machine should happen to fail despite the care
taken in manufacture and testing, repair should be car-
ried out by an authorized customer service agent for
Würth power tools.
For all correspondence and spare parts orders, always
include the article number on the type plate of the
machine.

the Internet under "http://www.wuerth.com/partsman-
ager" or ask for a copy at your nearest Würth branch
office.
Power tools, accessories and packaging should be
sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
