THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING DYNAFIT SKI BOOTS!
DYNAFIT ski boots are engineered and produced to meet the highest industry standards
in both performance and quality. With the quality, types of materials used, and the
dynamic performance-oriented functions, every boot is specifically designed to cater
to the needs of an AT skier. Within our collection you will surely find the right boot to
satisfy your backcountry needs. For your own safety and knowledge, we ask that you
please read and review the following user manual.
ATTENTION ALL USERS!
PLEASE RECOGNIZE THAT SKIING, AMONG MANY OTHER OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES, CAN
BE DANGEROUS. PLEASE BE AWARE AND EXERCISE CAUTION.
For your safety we recommend that you replace the shells of your boots (regardless
of brand) after approximately 150 skiing days. Please keep in mind that depending on
use, care, and treatment of your boots, this time span may vary. The lifespan of your
DYNAFIT boots can be extended by simply consulting your local dealer at the end of the
ski season.
Ask your dealer to evaluate the condition of your boots and its operating components.
Your dealer should be able to replace most parts. The boot outsole and many other parts
are replaceable.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
NOTE: For any questions regarding or relating to the proper fitting or use of the DYNAFIT
PDG 2 boot, please consult an authorized DYNAFIT dealer. The PDG 2 is designed for
professional use and competition. Abrasion of the outsole, gaiter, and/or the liner are
considered normal and will not be covered under warranty.
BUCKLE ADJUSTMENT: The DYNAFIT PDG 2 boot offers a revolutionary patented cuff
buckle system that, with only a single movement, allows the boot to switch from released/
walk mode to locked/downhill mode.
• LOWER BUCKLE: The lower buckles on the PDG 2 offer two different adjustments.
Simply push the bail loop of the cable binding onto one of the two buckles' hooks until
you have found the appropriate adjustment. Adjust the buckle in a way that keeps
your feet in place and avoids heel slippage. The buckle is not designed to be opened
or loosened when climbing. If you are not able to provide an accurate fit using the
standard cable length, you can customize the length of the cables.
• UPPER BUCKLE: The upper buckle on the shaft of the PDG 2 offers various
possibilities for adjustments. These can be achieved by changing the tension of the
Velcro band. After latching the upper buckle, there must be sufficient tension to
