 ABOUT THIS FONDUE SET

CAUTION: please do not use grease or oil for the fondue. The appliance is suitable only for
"Asian-style" cooking with broth and not for fondue bourguignonne!

Using the provided fondue sieves and forks, this electric pot is perfect for cooking delicious
Chinese fondue, with fish, meat and vegetables.
o
The pot has a separator in the middle for accommodating two different types of broth in the
same time, a meat and a vegetarian one, for example.
 BEFORE FIRST USE
o
Take all of the parts carefully out of the packaging.
o
Wash the pot, the forks and the sieves with a soft cloth and a little bit of dishwashing deter-
gent. Never use abrasive cleaning products.
o
Only wipe the heating base with a damp cloth.
o
Allow all the parts to dry completely before use.
 HOW TO OPERATE THE FONDUE SET
o
Place the heating base in the middle of a table or another even surface.
o
Fill both compartments of the pot with water and all ingredients for the broth, place it on the
heating base and adjust it to ensure the pot bottom fits well onto the base.
o
Ensure that the appliance is switched off before plugging its power cord into a socket.
o
the "POWER" light turns on when the appliance is connected to the mains.
o
Turn the temperature control switch to maximum (HIGH) and once the broth is boiling, adjust
the thermostat to the required cooking temperature.
o
When the broth is ready, place chosen food into the pot. Do not drop the food into the hot
bouillon, always use the forks and sieves provided.

The traditional ingredients for the Chinese fondue are beef, pork, fish fillets, squid and
shrimp; leafy greens such as bok choy, spinach or cabbage; mushrooms and noodles. Slicing
thinly will ensure that the ingredients will cook quickly and fully.
 AFTER USE

As soon as you have finished using the device, pull out the plug, let the pot cool down and
remove it from the heating base.
o
Wash the pot, the forks and the sieves with a soft cloth and a little bit of dishwashing deter-
gent. Never use abrasive cleaning products.

Only wipe the heating base with a damp cloth. Never immerse it in water.
