5. Operation

■ STARTING ENGINE

1. Move the choke lever to the closed
position. (F5)
(1) Choke lever
(2) Open
(3) Close
(4) Primer Pump
NOTE
AG4300
When restarting the engine immediately
after stopping it, leave the choke open.

• Push the primer pump several times
until overflown fuel flows out in the
clear tube.

1) Open the fuel shut off.
2) Press on the tickler lever and push
the bubble on the fuel tube all
together until fuel flows out in the
overflow pipe.

(3) Fuel valve
(4) Ticker lever

3. Set the ignition switch to the "RUN(A)"
position. While pulling the throttle
lever(F7,1,2), push the throttle set
button(F7,3),
throttle(F7,2), then the throttle lever is in
to the "start position". (F7)
(A) Run
(B) Stop
(C) Ignition switch
4. While supporting the auger with your
left waist and left hand as shown in the
AG4300
figure, pull the starter rope, first lightly
and add force when compression is felt.
WARNING
Keep the drill clear of everything
around it as it will start rotating upon
starting of engine.
