Inserting a bobbin
DO NOT FORGET TO SWITCH OFF THE MACHINE
WHILE WORKING IN THE BOBBIN AREA.
1. Lift presser foot.
2. Turn hand wheel toward your direction until
needle is in its highest position.
3. Pull approximately 10 cm of thread from repla-
cement bobbin and insert bobbin into case
(illustration 1).
Note: While unwinding, the bobbin should turn from
right to left (counter clockwise).
4. Holding bobbin in place, guide thread into slot A
(illustration2).
5. Guide the thread down the slot to the left around
until guiding slot B (illustration 3).
6. Close the bobbin visor partially allowing some
thread to come up and pull toward the back
(illustration 4).
