oPErAtIon - Making chocolate bonbons
1. Fill the shapes trays with chocolate.
2. A llow the chocolate to solidify (for example, in the refrigerator) before removing the bonbons from the
shapes. Bon appetit!
C hocolate is available in various compositions. Some chocolate can be liquefied more easily than
others, depending on this composition. Add vegetable oil or sunflower oil to the chocolate to make it
more fluid. Start with a small quantity and add more as desired. Make sure you mix the oil well with
the chocolate.
• O nly use chocolate that is suitable for melting. You can buy this at specialist shops and confectionery
shops.
• D o not use chocolate with additives, such as nuts, etc. These may block the rising tube.
• M ake sure there is sufficient chocolate in the bowl (1 kg). The fountain will not work correctly if the
level of chocolate is below the bottom edge of the rising tube.
I f you wish to add more chocolate during use, do not fill it to the edge of the bowl. It will overflow
when you stop the motor and the chocolate flows from the rising tube back into the bowl.
M ake sure that the products are thoroughly dry before dipping them in the chocolate. Water on the
products will cause the chocolate to not mix well and the chocolate will not stick to the products.

1. T urn off the motor and the heating element and remove the plug from the plugsocket.

the motor housing) are suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher, it is possible that this may cause
discolouration after some time.
c. T horoughly clean the inside and outside of the stainless steel bowl with hot water to which a little
washing-up liquid has been added. Do NOT use scourers. Then dry them thoroughly.
3. C lean the housing of the appliance with a damp cloth, if necessary with an additional couple of drops of
washing-up liquid. After cleaning, dry the unit thoroughly.
4. Store the chocolate fountain.
• Do not save any chocolate that is left over for use at a later date.
• Verify that the appliance is not connected to the power supply when you clean it.
• N ever use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes)
to clean the appliance.
• Do not immerse the chocolate fountain in water or other liquids.
