 In order to charge the battery via the 5 V USB car
adapter, connect the USB cable to the camera's DC IN
socket.
 Connect the other end of the cable to the 5 V USB car
adapter, and plug the car adapter into the cigarette
lighter socket in your vehicle.
PLEASE NOTE!
The device is designed for operation only with
the supplied car adapter. The integrated bat-
tery is intended for use merely if the camera
does not switch off spontaneously when pow-
er is no longer supplied via the car adapter
(for example, the ignition is switched off ). The
battery is not intended for continuous opera-
tion.
To charge the battery using the USB port on your PC or
another device with a USB port, proceed as follows:
 Use the USB cable to connect the camera to the USB
port on your PC or another device with a USB port.
