1 Operating Elements and Connections

1.1 Front panel

1 On/off switch
2 Display of the programme number
3 Receiving antenna to be folded up and to be tur-
ned (do not scratch)
4 Trimming control to correct the video level;
the video level is adjusted according to standard
(1 Vpp), however, if required, it can be changed to
0.8 to 1.2 Vpp with a small screwdriver
5 Buttons "L-" and "L+"
a) function with the on-screen menu called:
- adjust the selected function in the menu
b) function with the menu not inserted:
- adjust the signal level (volume) at the phono
jacks "audio A" (10) and "audio B" (11)
[the level at the DIN AV jack (9) cannot be
changed]
6 Buttons "P+" and "P-"
a) function with the on-screen menu called:
- selection of a function in the menu
b) functions with the menu not inserted:
- switching to another programme number
and stopping the automatic switching mode
(if activated)
- pressing both buttons at the same time:
activating the automatic switching mode
(see chapter 5.2)
7 Button "OK"
a) function with the on-screen menu called:
- to store changes in the on-screen menu and
to extinguish the menu keep the buttons
pressed for approx. 3 seconds.
b) functions with the menu not inserted:
shortly press the button:
1st time to insert the programme number
on the monitor
2nd time to insert additionally the date and
the time
3rd time to insert additionally the receiving
level
4th time to cancel the information
Keep button pressed for approx. 3 seconds
- to insert the on-screen menu
8 Infrared receiving lens to control the AV-3010RDX
via an infrared remote control (not included in the
delivery)

1.2 Rear panel

9 DIN-AV jack for connecting e. g. a video recorder,
a second monitor, or an AV modulator
pin configuration (fig. 3):
1 Output AV control voltage (9 V, max. 50 mA)
2 Video signal
3 Ground
4 Audio left (sound A)
5 Output 5 V supply voltage (max. 80 mA) for
additional units, e. g. AV modulator
6 Audio right (sound B)
10 Phono output jack for the audio signal Left
(sound A)
11 Phono output jack for the audio signal Right
(sound B)
12 Phono output jack for the video signal for connec-
tion to a monitor
13 Phono jack for a cable remote control with the but-
tons "P+" and "P-",
functions see position 6
(remote control not included in the delivery)
14 4-pole terminal strip for the relay outputs
(current rating 42 V, 0.5 A):
The contacts "AV channel" are closed with a per-
fectly received video signal (factory setting)
The contacts "switching channel" are closed with
activated control channel of the transmitter (fac-
tory setting)
15 Low voltage jack for the voltage supply of
7 - 30 V /500 mA;
centre contact = positive pole;
required low voltage plug 5.5/2.5 mm (outside/
inside diameter)
16 SMA jack for an external antenna
