Close-up Photography (Macro Photography)

The macro photography mode is used when the distance to the subject is between 2 in. (5 cm) to 20 in. (50 cm).
This camera cannot focus on subjects within 2 in. (5 cm) to 20 in. (50 cm) unless in the macro photography mode.
Do not use the macro photography mode for subjects outside of this range.
In the macro photography mode, the LCD monitor automatically turns ON. Take the photograph while viewing the
LCD monitor.
Set the mode dial to [

Look at the image on the LCD monitor to compose the picture.
Using the LCD Monitor
Press the shutter button down half way, and press it down fully.
