Wear protective gear
Always wear the following protective gear when working
with the hedge trimmer.
a Safety goggles: Protect the eyes
b Safety gloves: Protect the hands from cold and vibration
c Trim fitting clothes (long sleeves, long trousers): Protect
the body
d Sturdy shoes or boots : Protect the feet
Failure to observe these precautions could result in damage
to your sight or hearing, or lead to a serious injury.
When necessary, please use the protective gear below.
Head protection (helmet): Protects the head
Ear muffs or ear plugs: Hearing protection
Dust mask: Breathing protection
Bee net: Insect protection
Wear proper clothing
Do not wear ties, jewellery, or loose, dangling clothing which could be
caught in the unit. Do not wear open toed footwear, or go bare foot or barel-
egged.
Failure to observe these precautions could result in an accident or lead to a se-
rious injury.
