The rice cooker is only intended for domestic use,
not for professional use.

opeRAtIon - using for the first time
1. Remove the appliance from the packaging.
2. C lean the appliance thoroughly to remove any manufacturing residues (see "Cleaning and maintenance").
opeRAtIon - Cooking rice
1. Place the appliance on a flat, stable work surface.
2. Measure rice and water and put it in the inner pan (4).

3. Place the inner pan in the housing (2) and place the lid on it.
4. Connect the appliance to the wall socket.
5. P ush down the ON/OFF switch (8) on the backside of the appliance. Push down the cook switch (9). The
indication light "COOK" (11) is now illuminated. When the rice is boiled, after approx 20 minutes depending
on the kind of rice, the appliance automatically switches to "WARM" (10). Now it keeps the rice warm.
Normally rice can be kept warm for 5 hours max. However, we recommend to avoid dehydration and to
serve the rice within 1 hour.
6. If the rice is ready, wait 10 minutes before fluffing and serving the rice
7. When finished, put the ON/OFF switch up and disconnect the appliance from the wall socket.
CleAnInG And MAIntenAnCe
Clean the appliance and the loose parts thoroughly after each use:
1. Remove the plug from the plug socket.
2. C lean the glass lid, rice bowl, measuring cup and spatula in warm soapy water. Rinse the parts with ample
water and dry them thoroughly.
3. Clean the housing with a damp cloth. Then dry thoroughly.
4. Keep the appliance in a dry place.
