3. Intended use
The cordless fi le belt sander is designed for the
deburring and fi nish-machining of narrow and
hard-to-reach positions, contours and curves, etc.
It also off ers quick and easy help in machining
small areas.
The equipment is allowed to be used only for its
prescribed purpose. Any other use is deemed to
be a case of misuse. The user/operator and not
the manufacturer will be liable for any damage or
injuries of any kind resulting from such misuse.
Please note that our equipment has not been
designed for use in commercial, trade or
industrial applications. Our warranty will be voided
if the equipment is used in commercial, trade or
industrial businesses or for equivalent purposes.

CAUTION!
Residual risks
Even if you use this electric power tool in
accordance with the instructions, certain
residual risks cannot be eliminated. The
following hazards may arise in connection
with the equipment's construction and
layout:
1. Lung damage if no suitable protective dust
mask is used.
2. Damage to hearing if no suitable ear
protection is applied.
3. Health damage caused by hand-arm
vibrations if the equipment is used over a
longer period or is not properly guided and
maintained.
Limit the operating time.
All stages of the operating cycle must be
considered (for example, times in which the
electric tools are switched off and times in which
the tool is switched on but operates without load).
5. Before starting the equipment
Warning!
Always remove the battery pack before adjusting
the equipment.
5.1 Dust extraction
Installing the dust extractor adapter
(Figure 5-9/ Item 8)
The connection for the dust extraction adapter (6)
is closed by the sealing plug (7). To remove the
plug simply pull it out of the opening.
You can then plug the dust extraction adapter (8)

into the connection for the dust extraction adapter
(6).
You can then connect a suitable dust extractor (a)
to the dust extractor adapter (8) (vacuum cleaner
not supplied).
This will provide excellent dust extraction on the
workpiece.
Check that all the parts are properly connected.
Important. The vacuum cleaner you use for the
extraction work must be suitable for the workpiece
material.
