15.3. Disassembly and grease
General maintenance, cleaning, lubrication and blade replacement requires some disassembly and
assembly of your pruner.
The cover is fastened to the pruner by 2 screws. The center bolt is secured with an adjustable gear nut,
which is locked into place by a gear nut clip. A single bolt secures the gear nut clip.
With the removal of the cover, adjustment clip, gear nut, and center bolt you can access, maintain,
clean, lubricate and replacement of blades when necessary.
It is recommended to grease the gears each 3-4 working days to guarantee the correct operating life of
the tool.
A.Loosen the screw of the adjustment clip with
an Allen key M4 (1). Remove the screw (1) and
the adjustment clip (2).
Loosen the nut with a wrench and remove (3).
Remove the center screw (4).
C. Remove the cover (6).

B. Unscrew the cover screws (5).

D. Remove the blade (7) and apply grease (8) on
the teeth.
