6. The operator may adjust the headband by adjusting button 6 and the segmental positioning plate
5 to select an appropriate observing angle. By pushing and turning the adjustment screw 7, the perimeter
of the head band can be adjusted.
7. Grind Selection
To select grind mode, Tturn the shade adjusting knob (22) counter-clockwise until you feel knob
"click". Remember to turn knob back when you want to weld again.
8. Low battery warning light
The low battery warning light (25) will flash when the battery is low.
9. Grind flash
The grind flash light (26) will flash when using grinding function.
To avoid any harm to eyes, do not conduct welding while on grinding mode.
Points of Attention
1. For your protection, inspect the welding helmet for damage or defect before every use and follow the
warning instructions in this manual. Failure to do so may result in serious and permanent injury.Be sure that the
helmet is be used in correct condition and check it according to WARNING content.
2. Avoid hard contact to the helmet to avoid damage to the ADF.
3. The outer protection plate of helmet should be periodically inspected and cleaned, keep it clear of dust and
dirt. In case of a break, crack, pitting or other damage, the plate must be replaced.
4. In order to operate more efficiently and safely, please select the correct dark shade number.
5. The filter is not a waterproof model. Do not submerge in water.
6. Be sure that the arc light is received completely by sensor. If not, the filter will be light or unstable in darkness
and may be harmful to the user.
7. Please use the automatic filter at temperature between -10°C–65°C (14°F–149°F).
8. Please don't disassemble the filter. If any problems arise, please contact our company or agent.
9. ADF replacement.
