DETAILED SAFETY REGULATIONS
Safety warnings for belt sanders and drum sanders
a) Hold the power tool by insulated surfaces, because the
sanding surface may come into contact with the tool power
cord. Any damage to live wire may cause any uncovered metal
part of the power tool to become live and bring danger of
electric shock to the operator.
Safety regulations for belt sanders
a) Belt sanders is designed for sanding surfaces. Do not use the
tool for purposes it is not designed for.
b) Use stationary mode only for belt sanders designed for such
use and equipped with original holder for stationary use, that
is included with the power tool. Do not use other sanders in
stationary mode.
c) Work with protective mask on at all times. Dust inhalation is
dangerous to health. Dust of lead based paints, of certain hard
wood species e.g. oak or beech, may be carcinogenic.
d) Do not use the sander to process materials that contain
asbestos.
e) When working with a sander, make sure to use earmuff
protectors, protective goggles and protective gloves.
f) When working with a hand sander, always firmly secure the
processed piece to prevent it from shifting. Poorly secured
material may hit the operator and/or damage the tool.
g) Use only recommended size of sanding belts for a device.
Check the rating data sheet for belt size recommended for your
device before replacement.
h) Before replacement of sanding belt or tool maintenance,
disconnect the sander from power supply by removing power
cord plug from mains socket.
i) Let the tool cool down before sanding belt replacement or tool
maintenance. Elements of the pad may heat up.
j) Hold the hand operated belt sander firmly with both hands to
prevent loss of control over the tool.
k) Always follow guidelines from the general and detailed safety
regulations.
CAUTION! This device is designed to operate indoors.
The design is assumed to be safe, protection measures and
additional safety systems are used, nevertheless there is
always a small risk of injuries at work.

CONSTRUCTION AND USE
Belt sander is a hand held power tool driven by a single-phase
commutator motor. The device is designed for surface sanding of
wood products, polishing wood surfaces with lacquer coating, fine
polishing of lacquered metal surfaces, removal of rust or specks of
lacquer before applying new lacquer, finishing of concrete surfaces
etc. Special add-on allows to use the tool also in stationary mode.
Range of use covers repair and building works, woodworking and
any work from the scope of individual, amateur activities (tinkering).
Do not use the sander for sanding surfaces that contain
magnesium or asbestos, or covered with gypsum.

DUST EXTRACTION

Equipment of belt sander includes dust container that helps to
maintain the processed surface clean. Empty the dust container on
a regular basis, this will ensure efficient operation of the sander. It is
recommended to empty the container when it is half-full.
• Undo the screw that holds the dust container (8) cover (7) and

remove the cover (7) (fig. A).
• Clean the container (8) and the cover (7) from dust.
• Install the dust container cover in reverse sequence of removal.
Additionally you can attach dust extraction (e.g. a vacuum cleaner)
to the sander. This feature is useful in particular when working with
