Connection to external devices
The antennas are equipped with an N-Female connector. N-connectors
are waterproof and therefore particularly suitable for outdoor use. To
guarantee this, the connector must be hand-tightened.
Please note that excessive force can damage the connector.
Loose connectors can cause signal interference due to moisture.
N-Male connector
Connect this connec-
tor to the N-female
connector of the an-
tenna.
Unroll the cable after unpacking at room temperature (~20°C). Do not
pull the cable over sharp edges. Make sure to observe the minimum
bending radius of the deliverd coaxial cable.
Disconnect the receiver from the power supply before connecting the
cables or adapters.
Check whether the supplied adapter can be attached without much
force (especially with SMA/RPSMA and CRC-9/TS-9 danger of confu-
sion!).
Connect the CoFlex cable at both ends to the antenna and to the adapt-
er. To do this, choose between the adapters supplied.
After connecting the cables to your receiver, check whether the connect-
ed antennas have been recognized. If this is not the case, you should
select the external antennas for receiving LTE/4G/3G/GSM in the
device settings of the device.
