SETTING THE TIME OF DAY MANUALLY
Hold the „SET" button on the back of the radio wall clock for more
-
than 3 seconds in order to activate the manual settings mode and to
set the time of the day. The second hand stops.
As long as you hold the „SET" button down, the minutes and second
hands move.
Right before reaching the correct time release the „SET" button.

If you then press the „SET" button briefl y the minutes hand moves by
exactly one minute.
The manual settings mode is terminated if you do not press the
„SET" button for about 6 seconds.
The second hand cannot be set.

RESET
If the radio wall clock does not react or if you fi nd any radio reception
interferences press the "RESET" button on the back of the clock briefl y.
You may also remove the batteries for a few seconds and then insert
them again.
Afterwards the radio wall clock starts the DCF reception, see chapter
"Getting started".
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
The product does not require any maintenance apart from occasionally
required replacement of the battery, and should never be disassembled
for any reason.
Please use a soft, dry, clean cloth for cleaning. Do not use aggressive
cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could damage the housing
(discolouring) or impair operation.
Do not apply too much pressure on the casing or the front glass, as this
can cause damage or scratch marks.
DISPOSAL
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not
be disposed of in the household waste!
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the rel-
evant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted battery and dispose of it separately from
the product.
b) Normal and Rechargeable Batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Regulation) to return
used batteries and rechargeable batteries. Do not dispose of used batter-
ies in the household waste!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries contain harmful materials and
are labelled with the symbol shown to indicate that disposal in
the household waste is forbidden. The symbols of the relevant
heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (marking
can be seen on the battery/rechargeable battery, e.g. under-
neath the refuse bin symbol shown on the left).
You can return your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge
at the offi cial collection points in your community, in our stores, or at
places where batteries or rechargeable batteries are sold!
You thereby fulfi l your statutory obligations and contribute to the protec-
tion of the environment.
