3. Safety Instructions

Please observe the notes on predictable misuse and residual risks, the special notes and technical data on pages X to Y of this manual in order to minimize
risks to life and limb.
Please observe the applicable standards and regulations for your equipment.
Make sure that the bow punch is depressurized (switch off the drive unit) during setup, inspection, inspection/maintenance and disposal.
Observe the operating instructions of the bow punch.
Please observe the instructions of accessories.
Please observe the torque specifications.
Make sure that the ambient temperature at the installation site does not drop below zero, and that there is no coarse dirt and excessive
humidity.
Setup, commissioning and operation must only be performed by qualified personnel who has read and understood this manual.
Make sure that long and heavy workpieces rest safely on the workpiece support.
Use always gloves.
Fix the workpieces on the door support so that they cannot tilt or drop down.
It is imperative to obseve the center of gravity of the workpiece!
The door support may only be operated in proper functioning condition.
Any kind of modifications must be reported immediately to the supervisor.
The equipment should be utilized in a tidy working area.
Make sure that the working area is well illuminated.
Refrain from operating the equipment under reduced concentration (e.g.: through the influence of drugs and alcohol).
No other persons apart from the operator may stay in the direct working area during operation.

4. Predictable Misuse, Residual Risks

Predictable misuse:
Outdoor use
Bow punch is not fixed
No or insufficient attachment of the door support
Operation through unqualified staff
Working without gloves
Utilization outside the indended use of the device
Possible risks remaining after a risk assessment:
Bruises caused when placing heavy workpieces on the support
Bruises caused by tilting or falling large heavy workpieces
Cutting injuries caused by sharp workpieces
Other persons staying in the direct working area during operation
These residual risks can be avoided by careful working and following the operator's safety regulations.

5. Transport and Storage

Please provide the following environmental conditions during transport and storage:
dry
frost-free
corrosion-protected
5.1 Receipt and Control of Deliveries
The goods are delivered in a cardboard-box.
Please check the packaging after receipt of goods for:
transport damages
other conspicuous features
Any damage found must be documented immediately (damages should be confirmed in writing by the carrier!)
