1. Application
The free-standing bases 0396 and 0376, height 200 mm, are designed to be mounted beneath individual cabinets or cabinet combinations of the H370 /
H390 and H375 / H395 series and for installation on the floor. Depending on the material, i.e. powder-coated sheet steel or stainless steel, the bases are
suitable for interior and exterior use. They are best suited for housing industrial components and devices.
2. General Information

are meant for technical staff in industry and trade trained to equip, set up and connect bases in compliance with the applicable standards.

The scope of delivery includes: 1 base consisting of two packages
a) Corner pieces with pre-assembled front and rear panels, 4 clip nuts M8 with grounding pins (grounding pins only for sheet steel version), 4 tooth
locking screws M8 x 16, 4 sealing plugs. Additionally for optional combination of modular bases: 2 tooth locking screws M8 x 16, 2 tooth locking nuts M8,
as well as assembly instructions
b) 4 lateral parts (base depth)
All details given apply to the base without further adaption.
3. Safety Instructions
The special instructions as well as the technical data specified on pages 4 to 5 of these instructions must absolutely be observed to reduce danger to life
and limb as much as possible.
Please take note of the standards and instructions applicable to your combination of low-voltage switchgear.
For any transport including moving to the installation site as well as for interior fittings and any (later) work, take suitable safety measures to secure the
product against tilting when installed, ideally by screwing it into the floor and additionally fixing it with straps or similar, if necessary.
The instructions for accessories must also be observed.
Torque specifications must be adhered to.
The design features of the base installed according to these instructions include a potential equalizer in compliance with DIN EN 61439-1.
Any additional potential equalizing measures, which are adapted to the given application, must be provided by customer.
Ensure that there is no coarse dirt and (for powder-coated sheet steel) no excessive moisture at the installation site and that the product stands level.
The maximum static loads as specified on page 5 must not be exceeded.
Note: Bases in stainless steel design are generally suitable for outdoor installation.
4. Instructions for Transport
When assembled, base and cabinet must be transported in an upright position – preferably on a pallet. During transport, the product must be suitably
secured against tilting – attention must be paid to load distribution, center of gravity.
It is recommended that the lateral parts be screwed in using the additional fastening holes provided in the corner pieces.
Note: The front and rear panels must always be removed before lifting (e.g. with a forklift).
Attention: When lowering the product, the load must always be equally distributed on all corner pieces! Jerky placing onto the floor must be avoided.
