2 Measuring the wave length of a single receiver
2.1 Experiment
• Set the transmitter to the "continuous" position
• View the transmitter signal on channel A of the oscilloscope, and the receiver signal on

3 Measuring distance using ultrasound waves
3.1 Objectives
To know the position of a small character enclosed in an opaque box. For this we will use
ultrasound waves employed in the sonar and scan techniques.

Bursts reversing switch on Bursts. The Long bursts – Short bursts
reversing switch is placed in the Short bursts position.
