 Th e kettle may only be operated with the
base provided with the appliance.
 Th e appliance must be used only on a heat-
resistant and level surface, impervious to
water stains.
 Do not allow the appliance or its power
cord to come into contact with open
fl ames or any hot surfaces such as hot-
plates.
 Do not let the power cord hang free, and
keep the cord well away from hot parts of
the housing.
 Always remove the plug from the wall
socket

Th ermal safety cut-out
Th e preset thermal safety cut-out protects
the heating element from overheating should

– To turn the appliance on, use the
appropriate button, which will start
fl ashing red. During the heating period,
the temperature can be changed at any

– As soon as a certain temperature level has

– Aft er reaching boiling point (or the
selected temperature),
switches off automatically. A triple beep
signal is heard and the corresponding
button shows a steady light.
– Around 30 seconds aft er the appliance
has switched off , the temperature button

– To interrupt the heating process, the
appliance can be switched off by pressing
the appropriate temperature button again.
– To pour hot water, remove the container
from its base.
– To prevent hot steam from being emitted,
ensure that the lid remains closed while
pouring out the water.
